This Privacy Policy explains how Brandscapes Worldwide d/b/a MarinkAI (“MarinkAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) look after your personal data when you visit marinkai.ai, use our products and services, or interact with us.

Who we are and scope

Brandscapes Worldwide is made up of different legal entities, details of which can be found here (https://brandscapesworldwide.com/contact/). MarinkAI is a product of Brandscapes Wordwide. MarinkAI provides marketing intelligence and analytics that unify data across digital channels. This Policy applies to website visitors, individuals who request a demo or subscribe to communications, customers and authorized users of our platform, and individuals whose information may appear in datasets we process on behalf of customers. We act as a controller for our own website, marketing, security, and product improvement, and as a processor/service provider when handling Customer Data under contract.

Information we collect
Information you provide directly

Contact details (name, work email, phone, job title, company), messages, account data (credentials, roles, preferences), and billing/subscription data (plans, invoices, tax details).

Information collected automatically

Usage and device data (IP address, browser, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, feature usage) and cookies/ similar technologies for essential functionality, analytics, and preferences.

Information from customers, partners, and public sources

Customer-provided datasets and authorized platform connections; publicly available content relevant to brand analysis (e.g., public social posts, public reviews, public listings, public websites); and third-party data used to enrich or validate insights. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless instructed by a customer and permitted by law.

How we use information

To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the platform and website; configure accounts and authenticate users; deliver analytics and reports; communicate about demos, updates, and marketing (where permitted); monitor performance; detect fraud or abuse; comply with legal obligations; and develop new features and research improvements. We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to.

Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK/Switzerland)

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, processing relies on one or more bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (product improvement, security, business insights), consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share information with service providers (hosting, analytics, communications, billing, security, support) under contracts that protect data; affiliates; partners at your direction or with consent; professional advisors and auditors; authorities when required; and as part of business transfers. We do not sell personal information, and we do not knowingly share personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising where restricted by law.

International transfers

We may transfer, store, and process information in the United States and other countries with appropriate safeguards such as contractual commitments and supplementary measures.

Retention

We retain information as long as necessary for the purposes described, to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention for Customer Data follows the governing contract and documented instructions.

Your rights

Under data protection laws, you have rights to access, correct, update, delete, or restrict processing; to object; and to data portability. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If we process your data on behalf of a customer, contact that customer. For California and similar US state laws, you may have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise rights, email marinkai@brand-scapes.com.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies (login, security, core features), analytics cookies (usage and performance), and preference cookies (remember selections). You can control cookies via your browser. Blocking some cookies may impact functionality.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, logging, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.
